The Mid-Level Web Developer will support the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). This is a critical role in the maintenance and modernization of the NAVSUP Enterprise Web (NEW) environment. The primary focus will be providing full-stack development support for the MyNAVSUP intranet portal and other mission-critical custom applications.
- Modernization & Automation: Transform manual Navy processes into intelligent digital workflows and automated solutions to enhance readiness across the enterprise.
- System Integration: Integrate data from various back-end services and databases to provide a seamless user experience across the MyNAVSUP suite.
- Compliance & Accessibility: Ensure all web products meet stringent Section 508 accessibility standards and DoD security requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations and "as-built" documentation.
- US Citizenship and Active DoD Clearance.
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional web development experience (Journeyman level), preferably in a government or DoD environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Current DoD 8570/8140 compliance (e.g., Security+ CE) is highly preferred.
Front-End: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (including modearn frameworks like React or Angular).
Back-End: Experience with ASP.NET, C#, or Java and building/consuming RESTful APIs.
Database: Strong knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
