Certified Surg Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, maintain the sterile field, set up and manage surgical equipment, pass instruments and supplies to surgeons, handle specimens, and perform counts to prevent retained surgical items.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Expertise in total joint and orthospine procedures.
• Experience with da Vinci robotic surgical systems.
• At least 2 years of travel healthcare experience for travel submissions. Locals will not be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in hospital OR settings with high-volume orthopedic and spine service lines.
• Previous travel assignment experience across multiple facilities.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0630-1700.
• 10-hour shift structure referenced in order notes.
• Call required. Minimum of four call shifts per month.
• Must be able to work four shifts per week.
• Travel clinicians must have prior travel experience and be willing to work at multiple facilities as needed.
