CNC Vertical or Horizontal Mill Lead Man

We are seeking an experienced CNC Vertical or Horizontal Mill Lead Man to oversee daily operations within our machining department. This role is responsible for supporting production, assisting with machine setups and troubleshooting, and helping lead a team of machinists to meet quality and production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC milling experience, leadership abilities, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Pay: $20 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations within the CNC milling department
• Assist machinists with setups, troubleshooting, and production support
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize production schedules
• Ensure quality standards and production goals are met
• Train and mentor machine operators and setup personnel
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong CNC vertical and/or horizontal mill experience
• Leadership or lead machinist experience preferred
• Setup and troubleshooting experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect precision-machined parts
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
