Assembly/Welder

Job Title: Welder 
2nd shift 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Pontiac, IL
Pay Rate 20.00
Interviews and weld tests will be scheduled


What’s the Job?
•     Responsible for various types of weld preparation
•    Welding and weld finishing operation to manufacture to customer drawings
•    Manual MIG welding of frames, fixtures, beams and other miscellaneous metal/steel parts
•    Conduct Welding equipment maintenance

What’s Needed?
•    Demonstrate proficiency in assigned welding techniques
•    Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters
•    Proficiency using conventional and precision measuring instruments
•    Knowledge of safety work habits within industrial /manufacturing environment
