Field Service Control Technician

Our client, an industrial controls company is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be traveling 50% - 75% of the time within Georgia and Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC troubleshooting experience as well as excellent customer service experience which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Field Service Technician 

Location: Remote within Florida or Georgia 

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000

 

What’s the Job?

• Perform diagnostics, upkeep, and corrective work on PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical control components.
• Identify and fix problems involving field devices, including motors, overload protection, control switches, and associated wiring.
• Read and apply information from schematics, technical documentation, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters and signal analyzers.
• Evaluate control processes by tracing signals from sensing devices through actuated equipment and back into the control system.

What’s Needed?

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with PLCs (Allen Bradley), instrumentation, and electrical control systems.
• Proficient in using Microsoft 365 (Office 365) applications.
• Solid expertise in troubleshooting electrical control systems.Skilled in interpreting electrical schematics and utilizing diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to travel at least 75%
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. You will be the face of the company.
