Our healthcare partner is seeking a dedicated and skilled ER Nurse to join their team in Craig, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care and support to patients in critical need.
As an ER Nurse, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes. You will utilize your critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to work effectively with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans based on assessments
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide quality outcomes and coordinate patient care
- Identifying barriers to effective communication and providing appropriate patient/family education
- Delegating patient care to ancillary personnel and precepting student nurses and new hires
- Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and infection control procedures
- Exhibiting initiative and self-motivation while managing time and responsibilities effectively
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Current STABLE certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- One year of Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care Nursing experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
