Local Class A Roll-Off / Wide Load Driver – New Bedford, MA - $28 - $35/hr - Now Hiring

Job Title: CDL A Roll-Off / Wide Load Driver
Location: New Bedford, MA

Pay:

• $28/hr - $35/hr (will start off lower and then move to performance based pay after trained....around 1 month)
• OT Available after 40 hours while on hourly 

Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 4/6am start 
• Typically 10+ hour workdays
• Local delivery routes
• 1 - 2 stops per day

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
• Drive Class A Automatic and Manual transmission trucks (no slip seating)(will take restrictions)
• Operate roll-off trailers + wide loads delivering floor and roof trusses
• Safely unload materials using roll-off trailers
• Operate handheld devices for delivery documentation
• Ensure safe transportation of oversized loads

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Valid CDL Class A required
• Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience required
• Valid DOT Medical Card required
• Roll-off trailer/Wide load experience required
• Heavy equipment operating experience prefered (backhoe, skid steer, excavator)
• Route driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs as needed
• Stable work history preferred (no excessive job hopping)
