Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to early childhood special education students
- Implement behavior management techniques to support positive student conduct
- Collaborate with general education staff and paraprofessionals to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
- Monitor and document student progress using paper-based and specialized software systems
- Adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in early childhood special education
- Certification in Early Childhood Special Education
- State teaching license
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability and empathy in working with children and families
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Effective Date: 2026-2027 school year
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
