Route Delivery Specialist – Propane Services

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Route Delivery Specialist to manage the distribution of propane tanks to our local commercial partners. In this role, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that local businesses—including restaurants, hardware stores, and hospitality venues—receive timely and professional fueling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Operate a delivery vehicle to transport BBQ propane tanks to a designated list of local commercial clients.
• Route Management: Efficiently navigate local routes to ensure all scheduled deliveries and tank exchanges are completed on time.
• Inventory Control: Load and unload propane cylinders, ensuring accurate counts and proper documentation of exchanges.
• Customer Service: Act as a primary point of contact for business owners, addressing inquiries and maintaining positive professional relationships.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols regarding the handling and securing of hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history (CDL with Hazmat endorsement)
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver propane tanks (approximately 35–40 lbs.) repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and independent time management.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with business partners.
