Defense Litigation Associate Attorney

Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney - in Defense Litigation to join their team of professionals in their Atlantic City, NJ office.  

Pay Range:  $85k-$125k

Responsibilities

• Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
• Represents casino and hospitality clients in employment-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and internal investigations.
• Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions.
• Prepares for and conducts depositions.
• Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements: 

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to New Jersey Bar.
• 2-4 years’ experience in Defense Litigation; Casino / Hospitality experience, preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced practice, required
• Experience with NetDocs and Time Matters, helpful.
