Job Description
Shop Mechanic
Expectations:
* Knowledge of heavy equipment (John Deere and Komatsu)
* Knowledge of Trucks & Pickups (Mack & Ford, Chevy, Dodge)
* Knowledge of small tools and small equipment (plate compactors, water pumps)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service equipment and trucks. Ex: Change any and all oils and filters, change and check tires and breaks, all lights and wiring etc.
- Purchase/ order any necessary parts.
- Maintain safe work environment.
- Clean and organize shop.
- Gather appropriate tools and supplies for onsite maintenance.
- Welding and fabrication may be required.
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
