Job Description
We are looking for a high-level mortgage professional who can initially step into the lead production support seat for a high-producing Loan Officer, manage pipeline flow, support team members, and help build the operating system for a growing mortgage team.
This role starts close to production. You will help manage the lead Loan Officer’s personal pipeline, support borrower and file flow, and work directly with the team. The goal is for this person to help build the process, train team members, manage operational execution, and create the structure needed to support additional Loan Officers within their first year.
This role may be a fit for an experienced Senior Loan Partner, Mortgage Operations Manager, Lead Processor, Junior Loan Officer, or highly detailed Loan Officer who enjoys operations, structure, communication, and team execution more than outside sales.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support the lead Loan Officer with borrower analysis, documentation review, and pre-approval preparation
Review income, assets, credit, AUS findings, loan conditions, and potential file issues
Help evaluate borrower scenarios and prepare findings for internal Loan Officer review
Understand pricing, guidelines, and loan structure well enough to support internal strategy
Communicate with borrowers about documentation, next steps, timelines, and file updates
Help keep clients, agents, referral partners, processors, and internal team members aligned
Create and improve systems for file flow, client communication, team follow-up, and milestone management
Help manage the borrower journey from pre-approval through closing
Monitor pipeline movement and identify where files are stuck or exposed
Support team accountability around tasks, communication, deadlines, and client experience
Help train or support future team members as the team grows
Bring operational clarity to a high-volume mortgage environment

Required Experience
- Active NMLS license
- 5+ years of mortgage experience
- Experience as a Senior Loan Partner, Loan Processor, Lead Processor, LOA, Junior Loan Officer,
- Operations Manager, or similar mortgage role
- Comfortable reviewing income, assets, credit, AUS findings, and conditions
- Strong written communication
- Comfortable with client-facing communication
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to identify problems and bring solutions
- Ability to work inside a team process
