OTR CDL Class A Driver

Job Description

Magna Mile Transportation LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our growing transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, professional driving experience, and the ability to transport general freight efficiently and responsibly.

This role is best suited for a driver who takes pride in being reliable, communicating well, protecting customer freight, and representing the company with professionalism on every route.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A commercial vehicle for general freight deliveries.
• Transport freight to assigned destinations on time and in good condition.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT standards.
• Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, inspection reports, and required paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and management regarding routes, delays, issues, or delivery updates.
• Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional truck environment.
• Represent Magna Mile Transportation LLC with professionalism, respect, and strong customer service.

Requirements

• Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
• Must have at least 3 years of CDL Class A driving experience.
• Must have a clean and safe driving record.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and road test.
• Must have knowledge of DOT safety rules and hours-of-service regulations.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Must be able to properly inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Must be comfortable transporting general freight for different companies and customers.
• Must have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience hauling general freight.
• Experience with regional or over-the-road routes.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices, GPS systems, and delivery apps.
• Strong customer service background.
• Ability to mentor or support newer drivers as the company grows.
