As a Security Officer Visitor Intake - Full Time in Cedar Rapids, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. At a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations through routine patrols, visible presence, and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate access records to help support security-related operations at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity by observing site activity, reporting concerns, and following post orders for security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
