Hiring for 4 people to support a client in Sparrows Point

Material Handler = moves product around the warehouse  - 530AM-2PM

 Picker = pulls product for orders 6-230PM

22-24/HR + OT

Material Handler (broader, logistics-focused)

Core function: Move and manage materials across the warehouse

Typical responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks or containers
• Move inventory using equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
• Store, stage, and organize materials in correct locations
• Perform receiving, labeling, and inventory tracking
• Support overall warehouse flow (receiving → storage → shipping)

Key traits:

• More equipment-heavy
• Broader scope across warehouse operations
• Often requires forklift or machinery experience

Picker (order fulfillment-focused)

Core function: Pull items to fill customer orders

Typical responsibilities:

• Pick items from shelves based on order tickets
• Verify SKU, quantity, and condition
• Build orders on pallets or carts
• Use scanners or systems to track picks
• Prep items for packing/shipping

Key traits:

• Detail and accuracy-driven
• Focused on customer order fulfillment
• Typically lighter equipment use
