Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent General Laborer to join our team at a work site in North Phoenix. This role involves supporting various site operations, including escort services, janitorial duties, and moving chemicals. Training will be provided to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to escort tanker trucks to and from the work site and oversee the loading and unloading of chemicals.
• Perform general janitorial tasks, including taking out dry trash and replacing bins with new liners.
• Utilize drum dollies and pallet jacks to move 55-gallon drums and load them into a box truck.
• Separate chemicals according to type, take inventory, and assist in organizing materials.
• Remain proactive during shifts, assisting with additional tasks such as sweeping if primary duties are completed.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in labor, janitorial, cleaning, and loading

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification (a big plus but not required, training provided if needed)
• Experience in using pallet jacks and handling chemicals
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions well

Work Environment

The work site is located in North Phoenix with a schedule of 12-hour shifts: Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday, or Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday, from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The role involves a combination of indoor and outdoor work in the Fab, focusing on loading and unloading drums. All necessary personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and a chemical apron, will be provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
