Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The role spans from July 12th through August 13th, with a flexible schedule of 16 hours per week across four days.

Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher Licensure, OR
- Training in Orton-Gillingham (OG), Wilson, or comparable structured literacy programs
- Alternatively, experience as a trained tutor specializing in math and/or reading for K-12 students
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Collaborative attitude and adaptability within a team environment
- Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive educational space
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in small-group or one-on-one settings
- Utilize OG or Wilson methods for effective literacy and intervention strategies
- Adapt lessons to accommodate students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
- Assess progress and provide consistent feedback for ongoing improvement
