Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components to build finished products according to work instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings
• Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to complete assembly tasks
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and functionality during and after assembly
• Identify and report defects, missing parts, or process issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
• Track and document completed work and production output
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production (preferred but not required)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documents
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Nice to Have (Optional Section)

• Experience on an assembly line or in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with production equipment or automated systems
• Experience with measuring tools or basic quality inspections

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of ELIZABETH CITY, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
