CNC Lathe Machinist

The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for the precise machining of metal components using advanced multi-axis CNC lathes, including models from Nakamura, Haas, and Mori-Seiki. This role operates on a day shift schedule and involves periodic collaboration with engineers and supervisors to ensure machining accuracy and efficiency according to blueprints and production requirements.

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Monday to Thursday + OT on Fridays

Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay: $30-40 per hour (based on relevant CNC Lathe Machining experience)

Type: Direct-Hire / Full-Time Employment

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathe machines for machining operations
• Operate multi-axis CNC lathes to produce metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints to meet specifications
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Maintain communication with engineers and supervisors periodically

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining
• High school diploma or equivalent
