Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Special Education Teacher licensure or strong background as a math/reading trained tutor
- Completion of OG (Orton-Gillingham) or Wilson Reading training
- Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and needs
- Experience working with students in K-12 settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction utilizing evidence-based interventions for students requiring specialized support
- Adapt and modify curriculum to fit students’ individual learning plans and IEPs
- Maintain an inclusive, supportive and engaging classroom climate
- Track and report on student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate with classroom aides, related service providers, and school staff to foster student growth
- Provide direct math and/or reading instruction using structured literacy approaches
This contract covers 16 hours per week across 4 days, from July 12th to August 13th, supporting students during extended school year programming. In this role, you will receive a competitive pay rate of $45-$50 per hour, paid weekly.
