Job Description
As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently pulling orders for outbound company trucks or clients who visit the yard. This role requires the operation of sitdown forklifts and involves pulling orders from both the product yard outside and the product stored inside. Additionally, you will use overhead hoists as needed and provide direct face-to-face customer service. General clean-up of the yard and production area will also be part of your duties.
Responsibilities
- Pull orders for outbound company trucks and visiting clients.
- Operate sitdown forklifts.
- Retrieve products from both outdoor product yards and indoor storage.
- Utilize overhead hoists when necessary.
- Provide direct face-to-face customer service.
- Perform general clean-up of the yard and production area.
- 1 year of order picking experience.
- Proficiency in material handling and inventory management.
- Experience with loading and operation of forklifts.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience with metal handling is a plus.

Work Environment
This role operates from 3:30 pm to 12 am, with potential overtime after shifts if needed. You will work both indoors and outdoors depending on product location, requiring suitable attire for both environments. Steel-toed boots are mandatory, and the dress code includes jeans and a T-shirt. The company provides necessary safety gear including a hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
