Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students in the South and Central Seattle areas! This is an opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to make a direct, positive impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year. You'll work on-site with a diverse group of moderate-support-needs students, providing high-quality services to help them succeed in their academic and daily living skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Current ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Experience working in school-based OT settings preferred
- Passion for fostering independence and supporting students with special needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational abilities for managing moderate caseloads across school sites
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs
- Assess students’ functional abilities and create targeted intervention plans
- Work closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to develop strategies for classroom success
- Travel among campuses in the South and Central Seattle areas as assigned
- Document interventions and progress monitoring in compliance with district procedures
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise and insight for goal-setting
This contract role offers consistent hours (30 per week) from August 27th, 2026 through June 18th, 2027, with the unique professional fulfillment of directly supporting school communities.
