Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year near Port Orchard, WA. Five dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to make a real impact—four full-time positions (37.5 hours/week) and one full-time position at .7 FTE. This is an in-person role serving a diverse caseload with exceptional district support and collaboration.
What you’ll bring:
- Washington SLP license and ESA certification (copies required for presentation)
- Completion of OSPI-required fingerprinting before starting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Proven experience or strong interest in working within schools
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads (typical range 48-60 students, capped at 48 where possible)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Core responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with a variety of needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and complete thorough progress monitoring/reporting
- Actively engage with general and special education teams, families, and administrators
- Support the district’s commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations
