Are you a proactive safety professional dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence and operational integrity? We are looking for an energetic and well-rounded EHS Coordinator to join our team at a fast-paced, established manufacturing facility.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind our environmental, health, and safety initiatives. - Compliance Excellence: Oversee compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations. Maintain meticulous records, including OSHA logs and injury reports.
- Proactive Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and walk-throughs, identifying hazards and partnering with management to implement swift, effective corrective actions.
- Training & Engagement: Develop and deliver clear, engaging safety training programs that empower team members at all levels to take ownership of their safety.
- Incident Investigation: Serve as the lead investigator for workplace incidents, driving root cause analysis and implementing long-term preventive measures.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to develop JHAs, SOPs, and vital safety documentation.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in EHS coordination or safety management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Expertise: A strong working knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, hazardous waste management, and industrial hygiene principles.
- Certifications: While not required, certifications such as OSHA 30, ASP, CSP, or CHMM are highly valued.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (Associate’s degree with significant relevant experience will be considered).
- Communication Skills: You are a natural influencer who can translate complex safety requirements into actionable, clear instructions for a diverse workforce.
- Operational Mindset: You are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, have a high attention to detail, and possess the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic workplace.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to $85K.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
