Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled General Production Worker to perform a variety of manufacturing tasks, including part preparation, cleaning, and mechanical assembly. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly valued. Candidates with at least 6 months of production or assembly experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean parts thoroughly to prepare them for processing.
- Operate a sandblaster safely to clean and prepare metal components.
- Perform mechanical assembly work using hand and power tools while following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Inspect parts for defects, damage, or quality issues and report findings.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards.
Essential Skills
- 6+ months of production or assembly experience.
- Proficiency in safely using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
- Strong attention to detail for identifying and inspecting parts for quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate controlled assembly line setting.
- Willingness to learn multiple roles, including sandblasting, pre-assembly, and potentially welding.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.
- Ability to handle and move materials and components within the manufacturing and warehouse areas.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility on an assembly line focused on transmission tear-downs. The environment is not climate controlled, so temperatures vary with the seasons. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with occasional overtime required to support production demands.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
