Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Prior experience in substantially separate classrooms
- Background working with severe disabilities, including both cognitive and physical challenges
- Competence in providing toileting assistance and personal care support
- Knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and specially designed instruction
- Experience engaging with non-verbal students and those on the autism spectrum
- Comfortable collaborating with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and interdisciplinary staff
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a genuine passion for individualized education
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Create inclusive, positive classroom environments for K-1st or 3rd–5th grade students
- Implement IEP goals and behavioral strategies in coordination with support staff
- Offer individualized and small-group instruction to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families and team members
- Attend to students’ physical and behavioral care needs, including toileting support
- Collaborate with therapists, aides, and administrative staff to ensure holistic student support
