Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The role offers a .4 commitment, with hours spread across five days each week, making it ideal for those seeking consistent, part-time involvement on campus.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current Special Education licensure (will consider other relevant certifications)
• Experience as an ASD teacher or working with students on the autism spectrum is highly valued
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families
• Dedicated to daily on-site presence for partial-day classroom instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and adapt curriculum based on student needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Track student progress and maintain up-to-date records
• Partner with teachers and school staff to support all aspects of student development
• Engage with parents/guardians to communicate student achievements and challenges
• Create a classroom environment that encourages positive behaviors and active participation
