Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The role offers a .4 commitment, with hours spread across five days each week, making it ideal for those seeking consistent, part-time involvement on campus.
Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current Special Education licensure (will consider other relevant certifications)
- Experience as an ASD teacher or working with students on the autism spectrum is highly valued
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families
- Dedicated to daily on-site presence for partial-day classroom instruction
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and adapt curriculum based on student needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Track student progress and maintain up-to-date records
- Partner with teachers and school staff to support all aspects of student development
- Engage with parents/guardians to communicate student achievements and challenges
- Create a classroom environment that encourages positive behaviors and active participation
