Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Details:
- Four Special Education Teacher roles: three supporting resource rooms or specific grade levels, and one in a self-contained program for students requiring behavioral and mental health intervention
- Commitment from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027
- Full-time, with 32.5-35 hours per week during school hours, 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required
- Previous experience working with students as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop IEPs and employ evidence-based instructional strategies
- Flexible approach and adaptability to different learning needs and classroom environments
- Strong collaboration skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams and parents
- Compassion, patience, and a proactive attitude toward student advocacy
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students based on IEPs
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Monitor student progress and regularly communicate updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with general educators, therapists, and support staff
- Implement behavioral interventions and mental health supports for self-contained programs as needed
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings and professional development
