Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This contracted position runs from August 17th through June 3rd, offering the chance to work 35 hours each week across 2-3 school sites in the Marion and Upper Sandusky area. You'll become an essential part of a collaborative and supportive educational team, helping children build skills that will serve them both inside and outside of the classroom.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of relevant therapeutic techniques and interventions for school-aged children
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Reliable, adaptable, and dedicated to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine student needs
- Develop individualized intervention plans to improve functional, academic, and social skills
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families on strategies to support student progress in the classroom
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to ongoing evaluations and meetings
- Travel between 2-3 school sites as assigned to ensure comprehensive service provision
