Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Material Handler to join our team in a large distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building out pallets for canned dry goods to be shipped to various grocery stores and retailers. This role involves picking, packing, and customizing pallets according to client orders while operating a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Build pallets for canned dry goods to be shipped from the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and customize pallets based on client orders.
- Operate a stand-up forklift to move between locations within the warehouse.
- Utilize a headset to receive instructions on picking and location tasks.
- Experience with forklift operation, specifically stand-up forklifts.
- Proficiency in order picking and packing.
- General labor skills in a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Minimum of 6 months forklift experience, or over 1 year in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
