Delivery Driver- CDL B - Now Hiring

Our client, a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a Delivery Driver- CDL B to join their team.  As a Delivery Driver- CDL B, you will be part of the operations team supporting local deliveries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Delivery Driver- CDL B- PERMANENT PLACEMENT!

Location: Pine Island, NY

Pay Range: $52,000/Yr

Shift: 7am-5:00pm - Monday-Friday
 

What's the Job?

• Operate commercial vehicles weighing over 26,000 pounds, such as box trucks and curtain side trucks, in compliance with safety regulations.
• Drive predetermined local routes within the tri-state area, including Long Island, NY, NJ, and PA.
• Load, unload, and secure heavy freight using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Interact professionally with customers, deliver HVAC and plumbing supplies, and obtain delivery signatures.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, verify cargo loads, and report any damages or discrepancies.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles.
• Valid CDL B license.
• Knowledge of DOT safety and log regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
