Sanitation / Custodian Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Sanitation / Custodian Technician to join their team.  As a Sanitation / Custodian Technician, you will be an essential part of the sanitation department supporting the production and packaging facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation / Custodian Technician

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $20.00/hr

Shift: Overnight, Monday-Friday 9pm-5am- 3rd Shift
 

What's the Job?

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of production and packaging equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing facility, including walls, floors, doors, and other surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers, foamers, and forklifts safely and effectively.
• Remove trash, debris, and spills promptly to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Follow established sanitation schedules and document all activities accurately, including corrective actions when necessary.

What's Needed?

• Previous cleaning / sanitation experience needed- preferably in a hospital or school setting
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures diligently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to work overnight shifts from Monday to Friday.
