• Number of Beds: 2 rooms
• Number of Staff: 1 RN, 1 Techs ( 2 RNs/1 tech on call)
• Type of Staff:
o Day Shift: 1 RN, 1 Techs,
o Night Shift: n/a
• Patient Ratios (Estimated) : 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Impella, ECMO, Bypass pump, Laser(lead extraction) EVH, Rapid Transfuser
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: On-call is split and dependent on staffing

Typical Hiring Profile


Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role )
• ACLS, BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting.
• Must be able to Scrub and be proficient in all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility.

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
• Joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology
• Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Plastic Surgery
Additional Preferences:
• Can also scrub(RN)
• Can function in all surgical specialties other than CVOR (robotics, ortho, spine, GYN)
• RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care of all patients
• proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinker, excellent bedside manner

• OR scrubs provided by the unit
