Join Our Compassionate Team as a Hospice RN!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Shift Information:\n - Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM\n - Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM\n - Must be willing to work both shifts with possible weekends\n - Full-time opportunity (36 hours/week guaranteed)\n\n- Your Impact:\n - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients, focusing on comfort and symptom management\n - Administer medications and interventions per physician orders\n - Continuously assess patient needs to ensure a dignified, comfortable end-of-life experience\n\n- Empowerment & Teamwork:\n - Provide guidance and oversight to non-unionized CNAs, ensuring quality personal care\n - Delegate nursing support tasks (ADLs, hygiene, mobility) while ensuring safety and compassion\n - Monitor CNA documentation for accuracy and provide real-time feedback in a team-oriented environment\n\n- Collaborate for Care:\n - Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) rounds, contributing to integrated care planning and symptom management\n - Coordinate with healthcare professionals for holistic patient care and family education\n\n- Support Beyond Care:\n - Offer emotional support and guidance to families and caregivers navigating end-of-life challenges\n - Help families understand the physical and emotional journey they are facing\n\n- Commitment to Excellence:\n - Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and communications\n - Ensure care aligns with regulatory and quality standards\n - Follow infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff\n\nQualifications:\n- Current RN license (Compact or Montana)\n- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg\n- Experience in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs)\n- Strong clinical judgment and exemplary communication skills\n- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
