Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, eligible to practice in GA
  • At least one year of recent Med-Surg Oncology experience
  • Strong competencies in assessment, chemotherapy administration, and symptom management
  • BLS certification (required); OCN preferred
  • Adaptability and clear communication skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver holistic nursing care to oncology patients on a Med-Surg unit
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress
  • Administer medications, including chemotherapy, in compliance with safety standards
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
