American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position on nights, requiring a CO or Compact RN license and multiple certifications including TNCC, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC.
Details- Emergency Department (ED) setting at a regional hospital in Colorado
- Night shift schedule
- 13-week contract
- Active CO RN license or Compact license currently in hand
- BLS certification required (may be obtained within 90 days of start)
- ACLS certification required (may be obtained within 6 months of start)
- PALS or ENPC certification required (may be obtained within 1 year of start)
- TNCC certification required (may be obtained within 1 year of start)
- STABLE certification required (may be obtained within 1 year of start)
- NRP certification required (may be obtained within 1 year of start)
- BSN or higher preferred but not required
- Two (2) years of hospital nursing experience preferred
- One (1) year of ED or Critical Care nursing experience preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans using the nursing process
- Role requires strong prioritization, critical thinking, and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care including patient transfers, discharge, and referrals
- Provides patient and family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and individual circumstances
- May precept student nurses and new hires
- Must adhere to facility dress code and attire policies
- An Employee Health meeting must be completed prior to starting the assignment
