DayOne Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Charge Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing job in Moses Lake, Washington.

This position is responsible for functioning as both a caregiver and care manager. In the caregiver role, the RN assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame implementing the Nursing Process. In the role of care manager, the RN directs and oversees the work of other caregivers, (nurses and non-nurses) via delegation, coordination, supervision, and validation/evaluation of patient care outcomes. The individual in this position will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of Patient Care Services along with having the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates.
Family Birthing Center \n\n1. AAP NRP Advanced (American Academy of Pediatrics, Neonatal Resuscitation Program) is required for all RN’s working in MBU prior to the end of orientation and renewed every 2 years.\n\n2. ACLS (AHA Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.\n\n3. STABLE course completion within 6 months of completing orientation, and renewed every 2 years (optional)\n\n4. AWHONN’s Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course for all L&D RNs is required and must be obtained within 3 months of completing L&D training and renewed every 2 years. Electronic Fetal Monitoring from NCC is also acceptable.\n\n5. RN-C in specialty preferred.
