Join Our Team as an RN - Emergency Room!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Are you a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in the Emergency Room?\n- Join a vibrant night shift team and provide critical care from 8 PM to 8 AM.\n- Experience a stimulating environment where your clinical abilities will shine and grow!\n \nResponsibilities:\n\n- Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.\n- Provide nursing care through the nursing process:\n - Assessment: Thoroughly evaluate patients' needs.\n - Diagnosis: Identify the medical issues of patients.\n - Planning: Develop care plans tailored to individual patients.\n - Intervention: Implement effective nursing actions.\n - Evaluation: Monitor and assess the outcomes of care.\n- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.\n- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.\n- Monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment.\n- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.\n- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families.\n \nJob Requirements:\n\n- Education/Skills:\n - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.\n \n- Experience:\n - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.\n \n- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:\n - Current BLS certification required (AHA only).\n - Current ACLS certification required (AHA only).\n - Current PALS certification required (AHA only).\n - Current TNCC certification required.\n - RN License in the state of TX or compact.\n\nPosition Requirements:\n\n- Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days.\n- Precepted by designated trained staff with competency validation in the Emergency Department.\n- Newly licensed RNs can participate in residency programs for orientation.\n- Complete all annual competency verification requirements.\n \nWork Schedule:\n\n- 3 Days - 12 Hours, from 8 PM to 8 AM.\n \nWork Type:\n\n- Full Time.\n \nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):\n\nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
