\n\nOpportunity:
\nRespiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
\n• Variable shifts on rare occasions with advance notice
\n• Rotating weekend coverage approximately every 3rd weekend
\n• Holiday coverage requirements: 2 out of 3 winter holidays, every other holiday otherwise
\n• Provide 20-25 treatments per day with typically 2 respiratory therapists per shift
\n• Care for mainly adult patients with minimal pediatric and neonatal cases
\n• Cover inpatient units, emergency room, ICU, medical-surgical floors, and facility emergencies
\n• Perform basic respiratory therapies, ABGs, EKGs, BiPAP/CPAP treatments, and ventilator management
\n• Assist with intubation and extubation procedures, insert king airways in emergency situations
\n• Complete charge verification and timely charting in Cerner system
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT (via NBRC)
\n• Must have experience with ventilators, BiPAP, basic respiratory treatments, EKGs, and intubation assistance
\n• Previous traveler experience preferred
\n• Dress code requires dark green scrubs
\n• Equipment includes PB980, PB840, SurvoU, LTV1200, Hamilton ventilators; V60, Home Resmed BiPAP/CPAP; Optiflow high flow systems
\n• 3-day orientation program with department-specific training

The facility maintains 24/7 hospitalist coverage and intensivist support with eICU capabilities for overnight needs. The respiratory therapy department emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, with experienced leadership providing ongoing support and mentorship. The organization utilizes advanced respiratory equipment and maintains high standards for patient care delivery.
