Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience. The ideal candidate must have float experience in IMCU, Telemetry, and CDU units and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Candidates must hold a current Washington State RN license and maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA). This role involves providing high-quality patient care, monitoring complex patient conditions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- • Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to patients in the PCU, IMCU, Telemetry, and CDU units.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, monitor telemetry equipment, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- • Progressive Care Unit (PCU), IMCU, Telemetry, and CDU Experience
• Cardiac Monitoring, Rhythm Interpretation, and Telemetry Management
• Patient Assessment, Critical Thinking, and Clinical Decision-Making
• Medication Administration and Acute Care Nursing Skills
• BLS & ACLS (AHA), EMR Documentation, and Team Collaboration
- Valid WA State RN license
- ACLS Certified through AHA
- BLS Certified through AHA
- NIHSS
