Special Education Teacher- ESN (Moderate/Severe)

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position in Emeryville, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. (Ask about travel details if you are 40+ miles out- MORE MONEY)

Assignment Details:

Full-time position
School Year: August 19, 2026 – June 14, 2027
Elementary school setting
Caseload consists of students in grades 1–5
ESN (Extensive Support Needs) classroom
Small caseload of 5 students
All students are non-verbal

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Provide specialized instruction tailored to each student's needs
Collaborate with related service providers, staff, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

Active California Special Education Teaching Credential
Experience working with students with extensive support needs preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
