American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel contract requiring MA licensure (if applicable), ARRT certification, and experience operating radiographic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Details- Cardiac Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting
- 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Minimum on-call requirement of 1 night per week (5:00 PM – 6:30 AM) and 1 weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday, 48 hours)
- Responsible for operation of radiographic equipment, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, cardiac stimulators, and CEID programmers
- ARRT certification required
- MA license required if applicable
- Current BLS required
- Experience with sterile technique and operational knowledge of cardiac cath lab equipment
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Reports to the Technical Director
- Pass/fail testing required: Tele/ECG and Medication Test
- COVID vaccine and booster required; flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions are accepted)
- Candidates who have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility as a traveler, permanent, or per diem employee must have been separated for at least one year to be considered
- All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
- Interview availability must be provided at the time of consideration
- Orientation is held twice a month
