\n ⏰ Shifts: Day 3x12-Hour (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) – Additional shift options of 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM and 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
\n 📆 Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description:
\n• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Operating Room serving a wide range of surgical specialties
\n • Work 3x12-hour day shifts with flexibility to cover 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM schedules
\n • Every other weekend availability required (typically Saturdays)
\n • No on-call requirement
\n • Circulating experience is required; scrub experience is preferred
\n • Assist surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after operative procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
\n • Must be able to support multiple surgical specialties, including:
- \n
- Trauma \n
- Cardiovascular/Thoracic (CVT) \n
- Neurosurgery \n
- Orthopedics \n
- Cataract/Ophthalmology \n
- ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) \n
- Additional general surgical procedures as needed
\n • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient surgical care
\n • Active West Virginia or Compact RN license required at the time of submission (temporary or pending licenses are not accepted)
\n • BLS certification required
\n • Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, patient safety, infection prevention, and perioperative documentation required
