Join Our Dynamic Cardiology Team as a Registered Nurse!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Collaborate in a team environment to coordinate patient care in the Cardiology Clinic.\n- Serve multiple areas: Cardiology Clinic, EP/Afib Clinic, and Testing Center.\n- Conduct nursing assessments, identify problems, and plan care.\n- Report complex clinical data to the appropriate EP/Cardiologist.\n- Implement patient care plans as directed by the provider.\n\nQualifications:\n\n- Education: \n - BSN degree highly preferred.\n\n- Experience: \n - Minimum of two years in cardiovascular clinic and/or hospital nursing.\n - Critical care or cardiac inpatient unit experience preferred.\n - Telemetry monitoring experience preferred.\n\n- Licensure: \n - Current Registered Nurse California license.\n - Maintains BLS and ACLS certification.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Provide pre and post-op education for Cardiology and EP procedures.\n- Educate patients about their cardiovascular condition and treatment options.\n- Teach patients about prevention strategies and self-monitoring.\n- Triage patients' symptoms/arrhythmias and consult with cardiologists as needed.\n- Cover RN Testing Center and Cardiac PET CT Imaging when required.\n- Participate in Transition of Care Management for effective discharge instructions.\n- Review daily lab/test results and clinical worklist(s) as assigned.\n- Assist Nurse Supervisor/Director in nursing practices and policy development.\n- Initiate and maintain personal professional development for continuing education.\n- Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
