Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!\n\n- Are you a passionate Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery?\n- Looking to enhance your career while making a profound impact on the lives of mothers and newborns?\n- This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit where your skills will shine!\n\nPosition Details:\n\n- Unit: Labor and Delivery (RN)\n- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks\n- Start Date: ASAP\n- Shift: \n - Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)\n - Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)\n- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend\n\nQualifications:\n\n- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery\n- Certifications Required:\n - BLS\n - ACLS\n - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced\n - NRP\n- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred but willing to train\n\nEssential Skills:\n\n- Labor and Delivery Management\n- Amnioinfusion (Preferred)\n- Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries\n- Circulate for C-sections and recover C-sections\n- Neonatal care in the delivery room, including APGAR scoring and newborn assessment\n- Postpartum care, including breastfeeding support and wound assessment\n- Experience with fetal monitoring and managing complications such as pre-eclampsia and multiple gestations\n\nWork Environment:\n\n- Daily Patient Census: 7-14 Labor & Delivery / Antepartum, 5-10 in OB Triage\n- Interdisciplinary Support: Work alongside IV teams, therapists, pharmacy, and social services\n- Patient Ratios: Days - 1:1:1 or 2:1\n\nAdditional Information:\n\n- Licensing: Must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer; license pending accepted (must complete application within 48 hours)\n- Float Requirement: Yes, float to like units may be necessary\n- Orientation Hours: 36\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
