Join Our Dynamic Outpatient Clinic Team as a Registered Nurse in Hematology Oncology!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Position: Registered Nurse \n- Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Hematology Oncology \n- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) \n- Years of Experience: 2 years preferred in an outpatient setting \n- Charting System: Must be proficient in Epic \n\n- Certifications Required: \n - BLS (AHA or ARC) \n - ONS/ONCC \n\n- Preferred Certifications: \n - OCN \n - Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC) \n\n- Desired Skills: \n - IV Therapy/Infusions \n - Accessing/Managing Ports \n - Administration of Coagulation Factors \n - Antifungals (preferred) \n - Central Line/Implanted Line Care \n - Infusion Pump Management \n\n- Chemotherapy Administration Expertise: \n - Continuous and IV push administration \n - Body fluid handling post-chemotherapy \n - Monitoring and managing chemotherapy \n - Symptom management for various conditions \n\n- Care of Patients with Diverse Oncology Issues: \n - Includes but not limited to breast, lung, and colorectal cancers \n - Leukaemia/Blood Dyscrasias \n - Multiple Myeloma \n\n- Work Settings: \n - Infusion Center \n - Outpatient Oncology \n - Pain Management \n\n- Professional Knowledge and Skills in Nursing: \n - Neutropenic precautions \n - Wound care \n - Psychosocial care and patient/family education \n\n- Schedule: \n - Tuesday through Friday (subject to clinic needs) \n - Weekend, floating, and on-call requirements: None \n\n- Orientation Hours: 40 \n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
