Job Description

ATC West Healthcare is seeking a full-time Staff Adult Physician, providing comprehensive outpatient adult primary care services in a collaborative, community-focused healthcare environment. This permanent opportunity is ideal for Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians interested in evidence-based care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and serving a diverse adult patient population with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and work-life balance.

Dates / Schedule
  • Full-time permanent employed position
  • Monday–Friday outpatient schedule
  • No stated call requirements
  • Outpatient-only practice setting
  • Approximately 20 patients per day
  • Not accepting:
    • Locum candidates

    • Visa candidates
Job Details / Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient adult primary care services
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage:
    • Acute illnesses
    • Chronic medical conditions
    • Preventive healthcare needs
  • Conduct:
    • Medical histories
    • Psychosocial evaluations
    • Physical examinations
    • Diagnostic interpretation
  • Develop evidence-based individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver care through:
    • In-person visits
    • Audio/video telehealth visits
    • Audio-only encounters as needed
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings
  • Educate patients and families on:
    • Disease prevention
    • Wellness strategies
    • Chronic disease management
    • Health maintenance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and community resources
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
  • Participate in:
    • Quality improvement initiatives
    • Workflow enhancements
    • Patient satisfaction programs
    • Departmental performance goals
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations
  • Maintain productivity standards and cost-effective care delivery
  • Stay current through continuing medical education and professional development activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in:
    • Family Medicine, or
    • Internal Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME- or AMA-approved residency program required
  • Active Texas medical license required
  • Experience in outpatient adult medicine/primary care required
  • Must demonstrate:
    • Strong patient-centered communication and care
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and community resources
  • Must meet and maintain all credentialing, licensing, and medical staff requirements
  • At least one professional reference within the past 24 months required
  • Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
  • Candidate must not have applied directly to the position prior to presentation
