Job Summary

Copley Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide age-specific, direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department while utilizing the nursing process and adhering to departmental standards of care. This position offers the opportunity to work within a Critical Access Hospital environment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective, and age-appropriate patient care in the Emergency Department
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies appropriately
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Delegate tasks and provide leadership to support staff as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and facility regulations
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (Vermont license required upon acceptance)
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification or ENPC Certification
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
Certification Requirements

The following certifications must be active before the contract start date or have a scheduled course date prior to clinical orientation:

ACLS
BLS
PALS or ENPC
Preferred Certifications
TNCC
NRP
ATT
