\nPosition Overview:
\n We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide critical perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgeries, supporting procedures such as CABG, valve repairs/replacements, aortic surgeries, and LVAD implantations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a scrub or circulating nurse during open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures. \n
- Ensure sterile field integrity, perform accurate instrument counts, and handle specimens in accordance with AORN standards. \n
- Collaborate closely with perfusionists, cardiac surgeons, and anesthesia teams to support safe cardiopulmonary bypass initiation and weaning. \n
- Anticipate surgical equipment and supply needs, troubleshooting issues proactively. \n
- Manage the availability of implants, grafts, and specialty devices throughout surgeries. \n
- Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to hospital protocols and standards. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of perioperative or cardiovascular OR nursing experience. \n
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. \n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. \n
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. \n
- CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) designation preferred. \n
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical settings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. \n
