Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) to provide specialized care to mothers during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period. The RN will assess patient conditions, monitor fetal well-being, assist with deliveries, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
- Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management treatments as ordered.
- Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
- Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies and complications.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
